Dr. SAM mentions that since the structure of the body helps to govern it’s overall function, it would be wise to get some occasional corrective bodywork done to benefit your overall health. Dr. SAM makes a good analogy for corrective bodywork to a car that needs periodic maintenance to keep it running well. Dr. SAM discusses some examples of corrective bodywork and who to go to to get it including: a physical therapist, osteopath, chiropractor, or massage therapist. Dr. SAM also mentions that learning how to perform some corrective bodywork on yourself would also be a good investment in your health!

Dr. SAM makes a good analogy (for doing corrective exercise) to a car that needs a realignment or a new tire– that the car would need work as it’s not going to fix itself! Dr. SAM makes some recommendations about who to work with to get a good corrective exercise program that is tailored right for you!

Dr. SAM emphasizes that asking and answering this question (“What makes me tick in life?”) can lead to greater health and happiness. Dr. SAM emphasizes that the sooner you do this the better because the longer you wait, the more regrets you may have later in life. Dr. SAM discusses that “what makes a person tick” may change throughout their lifetime, so it’s important to revisit this question on a frequent basis (every 6 months, for example).
